Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers organized an event to facilitate the sportsman/women of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers for their sports achievements from October 2021 to October 2022. 12 Officers and 62 other ranks had been displaying their performances in sports throughout the period mentioned above was awarded with tribute certificates and medals.
The events represented by the sportsman/women were Golf, Squash, Badminton, Water polo, Gymnastic, Judo, Boxing, Tug of war and Athletics were awarded with certificates and cash prizes during the ceremony.
Major General WMGCSB Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu the Security Force Commander Jaffna and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers graced the event as the Chief Guest to give away certificates and medals. Senior Officers, Officers, Commanding Officers, and other ranks at the Regimental Centre took part in the awarding ceremony.
