The Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Engineers launched a donation programme of dry ration packs for 15 needy temples located in Welipenna, Matugama Sassanarakshaka Balamandalaya in Kaluthara District at the Senevirathnarama Temple, Welipenna and the donation of a wheel chair and relief packs to a differently abled child in Pitigala area on 05 September 2022.
The President of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Mallika Wijayasundara and members of Seva Vanitha Branch participated in the event in distribution those items. The donation items were sponsored by Mr. Dayarathna Kumarage who was introduced by Mr. Prasad Lokubalasooriya & coordinated by the Chief Field Engineer, Major General MK Jayawardena RSP USP ndu. The Commanding Officer & Soldiers of 12 Field Engineer Regiment arranged the event strictly in compliance with the COVID 19 health guidelines.
