15TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT COMMEMORATED WITH CONTENTMENT

The 10 Field Engineer Regiment celebrated the 15th anniversary with a series of religious and ceremonial activities on 03rd August 2022, showcasing glamour and pride in a grand scale. Anniversary day celebrations included the Guard turn out for the Commanding Officer, Troop Address, and all Ranks Lunch.

Commanding Officer of 10 Field Engineer Regiment Maj MCS Mallawage Lsc SLE extended his gratitude during the address of troops remembering great commitment of officers and men to uplift the standard of the Corps keeping Sapper flag high at all times. All unit Officers and Other Ranks participated the events demonstrating high note of Esprit de Corps. The Commanding Officer along with other Officers and ORs also took a moment to plant Jack Fruit saplings in remembering this precious moment of the 15th Anniversary and awakening the contribution to the agriculture projects expedited throughout the nation.

Additionally, in line with the Anniversary day celebrations on 02nd August 2022, a Blood Donation Campaign was held in collaboration with the Blood Bank – Teaching Hospital Jaffna and under the supervision of 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps. 10 Officers and 100 other rankers contributed to this noble donation. Furthermore, regiment organized an alms giving campaign to the Shiwabhoomi Elders Home at Keeramalei escalating the relationship between the Sri Lanka Army and the Tamil community of Jaffna on 05th August 2022.
