12 Field Engineer Regiment celebrated its 14th anniversary on 30 January 2022. The Colonel Commandant Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and the Commandant Defence Services Command and Staff College Maj Gen IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc releasing anniversary day message has extended best wishes for all members of the regiment. The celebration events organized was conducted within a protection bio bubble with minimum participation of troops compliance to the Covid 19 health guidelines.
The inter squadron Cricket, Volleyball and Tug of War competitions have been organized to exhibit and to enhance the sportsmanship skill and cohesion among Sapper members.
In the meantime remembering the Officer and 15 Other Ranks who have done supreme sacrifice and invoke blessings for the differently able soldiers a Bodhi Pooja has been organized. All rank lunch was held as the final event of the day. Approximately 100 members attended during anniversary day celebrations.
