21st COMMANDING OFFICER OF 6 FIELD ENGINEERS ASSUMED DUTIES

Major C R Lahadasinghe USP psc SLE assumed office as the new Commanding Officer of 6 Field Engineer Regiment at Pallekele during a brief ceremony held on Thursday 06th January 2022.

Maj W M A B Warnasooriya psc SLE welcomed the new Commanding Officer on arrival at the main entrance and the new Commanding Officer was presented a Guard Turnout in keeping with traditions.

The new Commanding Officer assumed his duties amid blessing of Maha Sangha. He planted a mango sapling to symbolize the occasion of assuming his duties. Thereafter he addressed the officers and other ranks where he briefs his intentions and the future plans for the 6 SLE. Finally he joined for refreshment with all ranks.
