THE OFFICIAL VISIT BY THE CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER AND THE COLONEL COMMANDANT CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS TO SRI LANKA SCHOOL OF MILITARY ENGINEERING

Major General AN Amarasekara USP ndu THE CFE and the Col Comdt corps of Sri Lanka Engineers made his last official visit to SLSME on 17 December 2021. THE CFE and the Col Comdt was warmly welcomed by the Comdt and all staff of Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering. The event commenced with the Drive pass,Tree planting and the most significant event was opening of “Koi Carp fish pond” which was done with the intention of making money for the benefit of SLME.After that The CFE and the Col Comdt addressed the troops and he thanked all Officers and Other Rankers who supported throughout his tenure and wished every one for their future.

The memento which was designed by the Vocational Training Wing was presented to the CFE and the Col Comdt of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers as a token of appreciation to the service rendered for the Sri Lanka Army and the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.

Afterwards, Major General Nihal Amarasekara had interactive session with officers of SLSME during the SLSME officers’ mess.Further, SLSME was presented a memorandum to Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara the President of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha branch.
