Insignia awarding ceremony of the Bomb and Improvised Explosive Devices Disposal Course No 1 was ceremonially held on 10th June 2021 at the main lecture hall of Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering with the participation of the Commander General Engineer Brigade,Brigadier PPA Perera psc Hdmc as the Chief Guest.
7 x Officers and 31 x Other Ranks have qualified from the course and they have obtained the insignia after taking more than 60% of average of the Bomb and Improvised Explosive Devices Disposal Course No 1 with the presence of Commander General Engineer Brigade.
The following Officer and NCO were secured the highest average during the course and deserved for special certificates which have been awarded for best student of the course.
a. 0/68571 Maj PGASPK Ganegoda SLE-14 CBRN Regt SLE the first in order of merit in officers’ category.
b. S/247665 L/Cpl Molagoda MSJM-8 FD SLE the first in order of merit ORs’ category.
Ceremony was unfolded with Insignia awarding, awarding of certificates and students’ oath was delivered by the Commandant Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering, and finally the Commander General Engineer Brigade Brigadier PPA Perera psc Hdmc address the students of the course.
