SAPPERS’ SUPER DRAW - 2020 AT RHQ SLE

Sappers Super draw 2020 was scheduled to be held on a grand scale at the Auditorium of the Defence College - Colombo on 28 November 2020 but had to be cancelled as per health guidelines and restrictions with the outbreak of COVID - 19 pandemic in the country.

A brief ceremony for the raffle draw got underway at the “Lt Gen NKB Angammana RSP USP psc Memorial Auditorium” at the Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Panagoda on 04 December 2020 headed by Major General Jagath Gunawardena, the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The Sappers Super Draw was conducted by the National Lotteries Board with the participation of Mr Munidasa Kandambi - Veteran announcer and advertising officer of NLB , Mr Achala Jayathilaka - Assistant General Manager (Innformation Technology) NLB , Mr Kasin Mendis - Information Technology Officer NLB, Mr Niroshan Wijewardene – Procument Officer NLB , Mr Shaminda Perera – Chief Executive Officer Lithium Technologies.
