Col C D Wickramanayke WV RSP assumed the duties as the Commandant of the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering (SLSME) in Embilipitiya on 23rd November 2020 in a formal ceremony. The newly appointed commandant was warmly welcomed with a Guard Turnout on his arrival to the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering.He planted a sapling to markthe assumption of duties.
The new Commandant took over duties signing an official document amid religious observances. Later on, he addressed a cross- section of the troops in SLSME.
Towards the end of the day’s proceedings all joined for an all rank tea. Chief Instructor, all staff officers, Officer Commending and training staff of the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering were presented during the occasion.
