12TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF THE 12 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

12 Field Engineer Regiment celebrated its 12^th Anniversary by organizing series of religious and ceremonial activities during 31^st January, 3, 6 and 7 February 2020 at the 12 Field Engineer Regiment, Panagoda. The entire programme was organized under the guidance and supervision of Commanding Officer of 12 Field Engineer Regiment Major G J P DE Silva SLE.

As the initial programme of the Anniversary celebration, Bodhi Pooja ceremony was held at Dhamma Wijayashramaya Temple, Habarakada on 31^st January 2020 in order to bless the troops of 12 Filed Engineer Regiment. Another significant event of the Anniversary celebration was providing Arms giving to Gamini Jyasooriya Sambodhi Children’s Home at Meegoda on 03^rd February 2020.

On 06^th February 2020 The Commanding Officer of 12 Field Engineer regiment Major G J P De Silva SLE was accorded with a Guard Turnout and CO’s Parade by the troops of 12 Field Engineer Regiment and floral tributes were made in memory of fallen war heroes.

The celebration of 12^th anniversary of 12 Field Engineer Regiment was come to the end with an All Ranks Get together held at Brigadier PD Ramanayaka ground Panagoda with the participation of Commanding Officer and all Ranks of 12 Field Engineer Regiment.
