SRI LANKA ARMY CBRN REGIMENT CONDUCTED AN AWARENESS PROGRAMME FOR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS IN TRI FORCES AND SRI LANKA POLICE ON CBRN RESPONSE

In view of enhancing the knowledge on the field of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) response in medical professionals in tri forces and Sri Lanka Police; a Mock Demonstration and two days workshop was conducted by 14 Chemical Biological Radiology and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Regiment, Sri Lanka Corps of Engineers.

The Programme was organized by the Sri Lanka College of Military Medicine (SLCOMM) and 50 numbers of medical professionals including consultants, doctors and nurses were participated for the event. The First day lecture session was conducted at the Conference Hall in Military Hospital, Narahenpita and the demonstration was held on 13 December 2019 at the Arpico Foam Factory premises in Mattegoda.
