The Annual General Meeting of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was held on 30 November 2019 at the Convention Centre of the Corps of Engineers Regimental Centre, Panagoda. The meeting was presided by the President Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Sagara Gunawardena. Two donation programmes and a demonstration followed by the annual get-together were few significant parts of the event.
During the AGM, new office bearers were appointed for the coming year and welcome speech delivered by the president of Seva Vanitha Branch. A documentary video highlighting the welfare and social activities conducted between year 2018 and 2019 was displayed. Further, tasks to be carried out in the current year were reviewed and proposed plan for the upcoming year was discussed.
The AGM was followed by the annual get-together of past presidents and past members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Corps of Engineers. Moreover, the event was consisted with lively entertainment and fun games for Seva Vanitha members. Large gathering of members of the Seva Vanitha Branch were present at the event.
