h South Asian Karate Championship was held at Sugathadasa stadium on 05 Aug 17. More than hundred competitors of the South Asian region, participated for the tournament and S/248390 L/Cpl Fonseka WRS 1 Fd SLE won the Bronze medal under Kumite – below 55 Kg weight class and S/248391 Spr Silva FHKL 1 Fd SLE won the Silver medal under Kumite – 67 Kg weight class representing the country.
