ANOTHER WELFARE ACTIVITY PLANNED BY CORPS OF ENGINEERS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH ENDED SUCCESSFULLY
Distribution of dry ration packs among 84 families of Sappers who died due to non-battle reasons while serving in the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was organizedwith the guidance of Mrs. Lushanie Goonetilleke, President of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers SevaVanitha Branch.
This welfare activity took place during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year season across the 16 Districts in the country, with the assistance of the field Engineer regiments. Senior Sapper Officers, Sapper Officers and Members of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers SevaVanitha Branch participated in distributingthe ration packs, which terminated as one of the most successful welfare activities carried out by the Sapper family.
