LT COL AHLG AMARAPALA psc SLE; FIRST SRI LANKAN TO FOLLOW IPSTC
Lt Col AHLG Amarapala psc SLE is presently performing duties as deputy senior military liaison officer in one of the states in South Sudan under UN mission. He has been fortunate to be selected and nominated to follow the Dialog, Negotiation and Mediation course at the International Peace Support Training Center in Nairobi, Kenya, out of all the MLOs/ Staff Officers in the mission. He was the first Sri Lankan to step into the prestigious IPSTC and follow a course. He has been assigned by the mission HQ to conduct lectures/ presentations to contingent officers/ MLOs deployed in the mission area, in addition to his present responsibilities.
