Visit of the State Minister of Defence to Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division

Premitha Bandara Tennakoon MP LLB (Hon) UK LLM Australia together with the Director General of the Disaster Management Centre, Major General (Retd) Udaya Herath paid a momentous visit to the Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division.

A series of comprehensive briefing sessions were conducted to elucidate the Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear, Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Humanitarian Demining capabilities of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. The State Minister of Defence addressed the officers and other rankers of the Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division, commending their dedication, valor, and unwavering commitment to national security. An impressive array of CBRN, EOD, and HDM kits and equipment was displayed, showcasing the technological advancements and specialized tools employed by the division in their operations.
