VISIT OF THE CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER TO THE PLANT ENGINEER BRIGADE

Major General P P A Perera Hdmc psc, the Chief Field engineer of the Sri Lanka Army made his official visit to Plant Engineer Brigade, Kantale on 13 June 2024. Upon the arrival of the Chief Field Engineer was accorded with a drive pass and a warmly welcomed by Colonel K A S J Kodithuwakku USP ptsc, Commander Plant Engineer Brigade.

Brigade Staff and appointment holders were introduced by the Brigade Commander to the Chief Field Engineer followed by addressing to the Brigade troops.

During his address, Chief Field Engineer emphasized how to manage military life, personal life and management of salary with the prevailing economic crisis. At the end of the address, Commander Plant Engineer Brigade presented a memento to the Chief Field Engineer.

In line with programme, the Chief Field Engineer planted a sapling for mark the visit followed by posed for a group photograph and all rank tea to interact with Brigade troops. Prior to his departure, the Chief Field Engineer penned his complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book at the Brigade Headquarters.
