VISIT BY THE CENTRE COMMANDANT OF THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS TO THE SRI LANKA SCHOOL OF MILITARY ENGINEERING

The Centre Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Brigadier SPG Gamage RWP RSP USP made his maiden visit to Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering at Embiliptiya on 03 January 2024. He was warmly welcome by Commandant of Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering Colonel MKV Manaoharn USP on behalf of all officers and other ranks.

The Centre Commandant was accorded a Guard Turnout, which was followed by planting a mango sapling. Subsequent to the formalities, the Commandant briefed the Centre Commandant on the training, administration and logistic matters at SLSME. The Centre Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers addressed the Officers and Other Ranks serving at the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering and appreciated the service rendered by them and the importance of continuing the same tasks in the future. He further emphasized the importance of maintaining military discipline and the need to increase course at SLSME.

Subsequent to the troop address the Centre Commandant participate for the all rank tea and visited the SLSME premises. After the visited at SLSME, the Centre Commandant visited Plant Wing at Kachchigala and the newly acquired land for the NVQ Center at SLSME.
