Troops of 11 Field Engineer Regiment build a new house in Thavasikulam, Kodikamam area under the direction of Security Force Jaffna, 52 Infantry division and 523 infantry brigade. The house was handed over to the deserving widow, Mrs. S. Sugendrani a mother of three children on 14th October 2023.
The Technical construction assistance provided by the troops of 11 Field Engineer Regiment under the close supervision by the Commanding Officer Lt Col KGCK Kudagamage SLE and the funds for material have been donated by the Imagine Compassion international Ltd - Australia.
Opening ceremony was attended by Commander Security Force (Jaffna), Major General SRK Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander 523 Infantry brigade Col MBL Perera RSP USP psc, Senior Officers, representatives of Imagine Compassion international Ltd - Australia and civilians living in the area.
