A TESTAMENT TO RESPECT AND SOLIDARITY: COMPASSIONATE VISIT OF SLE SEVA VANITHA BRANCH TO THE RANAVIRU SEWANA - RAGAMA

Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, paid a compassionate visit to Ranaviru Sevana, Ragama, on 12 June 2025, to express care and solidarity with the resident War Heroes.

During the visit, Mrs. Surangi Amarapala engaged warmly with the veterans, attentively inquiring about their health and progress in recovery, while offering heartfelt words of encouragement and support. As a tangible gesture of compassion, meal packets were distributed among the patients to provide comfort and sustenance.

Further demonstrating the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch's ongoing commitment to the welfare of these heroes, a computer was donated to enhance the administrative capabilities of the facility, supporting efficient management and care.

The visit was graced by members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, senior officers and officers of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and concluded with a sincere and heartfelt expression of respect and gratitude towards the wounded heroes, honoring their selfless dedication and invaluable service to the nation.
