SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF OFFICERS' ADVANCED CBRN RESPONSE COURSE 02/2024

Under the guidance of Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering and the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 14 CBRNE Response Regiment, the Advanced Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Response Course 02/2024 successfully concluded at the 14 CBRNE Response Regiment, Mattegoda and 16 student officers were qualified as CBRN First responders.

The course was conducted over an intensive and meticulously planned period from 25 November 2024 to 23 December 2024 and it was designed to enhance operational readiness in CBRN response, the program emphasized both theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise. All 16 officers successfully completed the course, showcasing remarkable dedication, perseverance, and expertise throughout the program. Their exceptional performance and commitment to excellence were evident, with the top achievers being honored for their outstanding accomplishments:

1st Place: Major GAPIK Dharmasena psc SLE - 9 Field Engineer Regiment.

2nd Place: Captain JS Balasooriya SLE - 9 Field Engineer Regiment.

3rd Place: Captain WMK Kavishka SLE - 14 CBRNE Response Regiment.

The closing remarks were delivered by Major General SPG Gamage RWP RSP USP the General Officer Commanding of Engineer Division, who commended the participants for their dedication and urged them to apply their skills in service to the nation.
