SRI LANKA ARMY ENGINEER DIVISION HOSTS BADMINTON COACHING CAMP

As the concept of Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and the direction of Major General TC Peiris RSP USP, General Officer Commanding Engineer Division, a badminton coaching camp was conducted by Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division on 20 August 2024 at the Sport Complex, Mattegoda.

The programme was conducted by Mr. WMKB Nawarathna, who is the coacher to Kottawa Darmapala Maha Vidyalaya and St. John’s College Nugegoda. The aim of the programme is to enhance the ability to develop the skills of the sportsmen and women and also to select players to strength the badminton pool of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.

25 Army personnel including Officers participated for the coaching camp.
