Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Regimental Headquarter hosted a farewell parade on 08 December 2023 for one of its proud Senior Officer, Brigadier DNC Serasinghe RSP USP, who retiring after a dedicated service of more than three decades. The day’s ceremony commenced with the customary Guard Turnout followed by a Ceremonial parade held at the Regimental Centre parade ground.
A customary farewell dinner was hosted in the evening for the retiring Senior Officer where Sapper Officers and their spouses participated. The Commander Security Forces Mullaitivu and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Maj Gen MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu delivered the farewell note extending a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for his service rendered. Brigadier DNC Serasinghe RSP USP in turn thanked the Colonel Commandant, all Officers and all ranks for the support they extended during his tenure.
