Step forwarding to enhance the welfare of civil staff of the Corps, Seva Vanitha Branch - Sri Lanka Engineers (SVB - SLE) has organized a valuable donation on 11 October 2021 at Convention Centre - Mattegoda. 103 of civil staff were participated for the event, representing Engineer Headquarters and Regiments established around Colombo area.
The event commenced with the arrival of Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara, the president of SVB - SLE, Colonel Commandant, the Chief Field Engineer Major General Nihal Amarasekar and the donors from Samadhi Sneha Foundation. Worthy dry ration packs symbolically distributed among 20 civil personals during the programme.
Thr programme was sponsored by Samadhi Sneha Foundation SIBCC Higher Education Center (EIIHE) and Executive Director at Eurasian International Institute for Higher Education, Ven. Delthara Senananda Thero, as a part of meritorious ceremonies have been organised on behalf of the birthday of the Executive Director of EIIHE most Ven. Delthara Gnanananda Thero. The sponsorship was coordinated by the National organisor of Samadhi Sneha Foundation Mr Chathura Radampola Wijesinghe and the event conducted by close supervision of the president of SVB - SLE, Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara.
The occasion added more colours, with the presence of senior member of SVB - SLE, Mrs Subhashini Madurapperuma, Staff Officer I (VA) Lieutenant Colonel Thissa Herath, Commanding Officer - 5 Field Engineer Regiment, Major Lalith Rathnayake and another few Senior Officers.
The donation programme was held strictly complying to the COVID 19 Health guidelines.
