The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers hosted its monthly meeting on Sunday, 29 th September 2024, at the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. The meeting was presided by Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, the President of the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch, and attended by Mrs. Anupama Rathnayake, the Treasurer, along with the spouses of serving officers.
The session focused on welfare projects aimed at improving the living standards of the soldiers and civil servants within the Corps. Participants engaged in a productive discussion, exploring initiatives to enhance well-being and support mechanisms for Corps members. In a generous gesture, Mrs. Lenika Balasooriya donated a facial steamer to the Seva Vanitha Branch’s ladies’ salon located in Rathmalana, marking the conclusion of the meeting.
