The 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was held on Saturday, 16th August 2025, at the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, presided by Mrs. Lilanthi Dolage, the President of the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch.
The Annual General Meeting provided a valuable platform to review ongoing activities and discuss future welfare projects aimed at uplifting the living standards of soldiers, civil staff, and their families. Members actively engaged in constructive discussions, sharing ideas and suggestions to further strengthen the welfare and support initiatives of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
A key highlight of the event was an inspiring guest lecture on “Life and Creativity” delivered by Dr. Indumini Sooriyabandara. Her thought-provoking session offered meaningful insights, leaving participants enriched and motivated.
Following the formal proceedings, the gathering transitioned into a vibrant Ladies’ Get-Together at the Officers’ Mess. This segment of the event created a warm and congenial atmosphere, bringing together retired Presidents and distinguished members of the Seva Vanitha Branch. The occasion also fostered camaraderie, friendship, and the exchange of ideas, further strengthening the bonds among members.
