The Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers launched a donation program of dry ration packs and gifts containing stationary items to the orphan children in “Mavpiyasewana” Child Development Center,Maththegoda. Apart from the main donation children’s were also served with a delicious lunch and were entertained with the Calypso band.
The President of Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Mrs.Mallika Wijayasundera and members of Seva Vanitha Branch participated for the event distributing lunch and gift items.
The donation was sponsored by Mr.Nuwan Sanjeewa,Mr.Dhanuka Wijesekara & Captain Lahiru Rathnayake and the event was organized by all ranks of 1 Field Engineers in compliance with COVID 19 health guidelines.
