SEVA VANITHA BRANCH CORPS OF ENGINEERS GIFT PROSTHETIC LEGS AND WHEEL CHAIRS FOR WAR HEROES AND NEEDY RELATIVES

Seva Vanitha Branch - Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SVB - SLE) distributed 2 Prosthetic Legs and 21 Wheel Chairs for differently abled soldiers and their close relatives.

The cost of Prosthetic Legs and Wheel Chairs amounting nearly Rs. 700,000.00, was borne by the following donors who were coordinated by Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara, Mrs Lenika Balasooriya and Staff Officer 1 (Veteran Affairs) Lieutenant Colonel Thissa Herath.

The event conducted on 04 April 2021 (Sunday) from 10.00 am to 11.00 am at Convetion Center - Mattegoda. The Chairperson of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara, SVB - SLE members, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended to the event.

The programme was conducted adhering to health safety guidelines and social distancing practices.
