SAPPERS WON THE ‘VIJITHA SIX SIDED’ HOCKEY TOURNAMENT
Vijitha Six Sided Hockey Tournament was held on 16-18 August 2024 at Vocational Training Ground Niyagama. Totally 14 teams were participated in this tournament and Sappers Hockey Team was able to win the Championship by defeating Sri Lanka Artillery Hockey team (2-0) and Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Hockey team (2-0) in the group matches, Gajaba Regiment Hockey Team (1-0) in the Semi Final and again the Sri Lanka Artillery Hockey Team (2-0) in the Final Match.
The best player of the tournament was awarded to S/247794 Spr Liyanage NAH from team Sappers.
