SAPPERS WON 3RD PLACE IN ARMY INTER REGIMENT WOMEN’S 7s RUGBY TOURNAMENT

Army inter regiment women’s 7s Rugby tournament was held on 18 July 2023 at Army rugby and football stadium – Panagoda. Teams from SLE, SLSC, SLAGSC and 2 teams from SLAWC competed in the tournament. Sappers Women Rugby team secured the third place by defeating SLSC team (15-0), SLAWC A – team (10 - 05) and third place match won against SLAWC A-team (10 -05).
