As per the directions of the Commander of the Army, The Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Engineers commenced the training day for ORs on 29 April 2015 (294 x ORs attended for the same).
Starting the day\'s training activities, Physical Training Programme at 0600 hrs and followed by Drill training at the Parade Square conducted by Drill Instructors.
The Regimental Sergeant Major WO 1 Indika Kumara conducted a lecture on Military Discipline in the Sappers\' Mess. Subsequently, Sappers were conducted a lecture on World War II by Lt Vimanga Subasinghe SLE (GSO 3) followed by the lecture on Disaster Management conducted by Maj Prasantha Perera psc SLE (GSO 2). The training session winded up at 1245 hrs imparting more valuable trainings to the members of Sapper Family to improve the standard of the Corps.
