SAPPERS SHINE IN THE ARMY NOVICES BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP - 2024

The boxers of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers achieved the following at the Army Novices Boxing Championship 2024, held at APTS Gymnasium from 07 April to 10 April, 2024:

MEN

1. Under weight class 67kg - S/251143 Spr Munasinghe WGGS won Bronze medal.

2. Under weight class 75kg - S/248324 L/Cpl Srinath PKK won the Silver medal.

WOMEN

3. Under weight class 48kg - S/B103492 Spr Coorey BGN won the Bronze medal.

4. Under weight class 50kg - S/B102161 Spr Dayachandra AIH won the Gold medal.

5. Under weight class 54kg - S/B102083 Spr Dilrukshi KUN won the Silver medal.

6. Under weight class 57kg - S/B102093 Spr Abesinghe BAAH won the Silver medal.

7. Under weight class 60kg - S/B102107 Spr Gimhani HGA won the Gold medal.

8. Under weight class 63kg - S/B102095 Spr Wimarshani LDD won the Gold medal.

9. Under weight class 66kg - S/B102090 Spr Anuruddhika EKU won the Silver medal.

10. Under weight class 70kg - S/B102111 Spr Thushari WG won the bronze medal.

11. Under weight class 81kg - S/B102084 Spr Kulasinghe MHDH won the Gold medal.

12. Over weight class 81kg - S/B102153 Spr Wathsala HADC won the Gold medal.

The Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Women's team truly stole the show, achieving a remarkable overall second-place finish.
