The 1st CISM Muaythai Challenge was successfully held from 08th to 14th July 2025 in Thailand, bringing together skilled military athletes from around the world to compete in this dynamic combat sport.
Sapper Cooray BPN of 4(V) Engineer Regiment, proudly representing the Sri Lanka Army under the banner of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, showcased exceptional skill and determination in the 51 Kg weight category. His outstanding performance enabled him to secure 3rd Place, bringing honour and recognition to the Corps and the Sri Lanka Army on this international platform.
The achievement reflects not only the fighting spirit of the Sappers but also the growing presence of Sri Lankan military athletes in the global sports arena.
