SAPPER WAR HEROS RECEIVED DONATIONS FROM SEVA VANITHA BRANCH.
As per the instructions by President of Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Mrs Nayana De Silva Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers donated building materials cost around 36 000/= to S/240089 Corporal Jayawardana CA (1 Fd SLE) who was differently abled during the humanitarian war. Further these materials were used for his newly establishing house.
On the same Day Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers donated 52 850/=LKR to s/21754 Sargent Damindasiri SS who was differently abled during humanitarian war. And further this financial aid was used to construct the water well of this soldiers’ premises.
Meanwhile another War hero s/21754 lance corporal Jayalath KD who was differently abled received 20 000/= by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers to uplift his sporting skills.
Further on the same day the son and the daughter of s/238002 sapper Nimal Pushpakumara MA who was passed away due to a road accident after being differently abled during the humanitarian war received 1500/= of scholarship from the account of Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. And the two sons of s/64292 WOII Wijekoon WM who was killed in action also got the opportunity to receive 2000/= per month from the account of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
