SAPPER SANDARUWAN WINS 2015 ARMY HALF MARATHON COMPETITION
S/247202 Spr Sandaruwan DGD (6 SLE) won the First place at Sri Lanka Army Half Marathon Competition-2015 out of 133 participants, completing 21.975 km in 68.18 mins which was held on 26 April 2015. This was an achievement for the Corps of Engineers after 28 years. Cpl Sepala KD of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers became first at the Army marathon competition held in 1987.
