Major HAMP Kumara SLE became the first in order of merit in the Junior Command Course held at Officer Career Development Centre - Buttala from 04 January 2020 to 30 March 2020 and 51 student officers were participated in the course.
The strenuous study period of JCC 18 culminated with a glamourous Graduation Ceremony on 30 March 2020 and the trophy for the first place awarded to the most outstanding officer and was presented by Major General K J Jayaweera RWP RSP USP rcds, the Commandant Officer Career Development Centre. This glorious occasion was graced by the Commandant as the Chief Guest and the Deputy Commandant, the Chief Instructor, the Senior Instructors and other members of the permanent staff also attended the ceremony.
