RELINQUISHING DUTIES OF THE BRIGADE COMMANDER

Brigadier P P A Perera psc Hdmc the second Brigade Commander of General Engineering Brigade has relinquished the duties on 9 April 2022. The farewell formalities were held at Brigade Headquarters with the participation of the Colonel Project, Commanding Officers of 1 FD SLE, 5 FD SLE, 12(V) ESR, Staff Officer and Other Ranks of General Engineering Brigade and under Command Units.

The farewell ceremony included a Guard Turnout, a Troop address and all rank tea at the Brigade Premises. During the farewell speech outgoing Brigade Commander appreciated the support given by all ranks of Brigade Headquarters and under command Units while performing duties. A memento was presented to outgoing Brigade Commander by all ranks as token of appreciation for his valuable service rendered to the General Engineering Brigade.
