Ranaviru Commemorative Parade-2015 was held at Matara on 19 May 2015 and 7 Officers and 121 Sappers took part in the parade. This was consisted with a Combat Column (2 X 61) which commanded by Lt Col MPK Madurapperuma RSP psc SLE and Mechanical Column (2X40) commanded by Lt Col M Mayadunna USP SLE.
Parade was made more colorful having employed the mechanical elements with vehicles and equipment of bomb disposal, bridging and earth moving machines, demining flail machines and Humanitarian Demining section with mine detection dogs.
The tri services commemorative parade was commanded by Major General H C P Goonetilleke RSP USP ndc psc which was an historical event of the Corps that a Sapper Officer commanded the victorious parade.
