The Plant Engineer Brigade celebrates its 6th anniversary with a series of events to remark Brigade Day. The celebration was commenced with Cricket Tournament among Brigade Troops to enhance comradeship and cooperation. Religious activities commenced with a “Dharma Deshanawa” which was arranged in the evening hours on 10 July 2024 and “Heel Danaya” was offered to the Kanthale Temple.
On 13 July 2024, symbolizing military customs and traditions, Commander Plant Engineer Brigade Colonel K A S J Kodithuwakku USP ptsc was warmly welcome by Colonel N K B S Jayasekara, Colonel Project of the Plant Engineer Brigade and saluted with Guard Turnout upon his arrival, followed by a group photograph with Officers and the Staff. The Brigade Commander addressed to Brigade troops and planted a Mango sapling to mark the memorable occasion followed by an All ranks lunch at the Other Ranks’ Mess.
In the evening, a Musical show was hosted to entertain and the event was winded up with a giveaway prizes to champions of the cricket tournament by the Brigade Commander.
