According to the guidance of Brigadier DP Jayasinghe RSP Brigade Commander of Field Engineer Brigade and under the patronage of Sri Lanka Amarapura Maha Nikaya Ambagahapitiya Party North Central District Chief Judicial Congregant Meeteyagoda Ariyarathana Nayaka Himi the placing of Sarvanya Relics of Lord Buddha was done in 8 Field Engineer Regiment by the Commanding Officer Major NLC Chandrajith RSP SLE on the auspicious occasion of Poson Pun Poya on 3rd June 2023. Also with the aim of this occasion alms were given on behalf of Maha Sangarathnaya at the unit headquarters concurrently the programme.
