PASSING OUT PARADE OF COURSE NO 2/2015 BOMB DISPOSAL COURSE WAS HELD AT SRI LANKA SCHOOL MILITARY ENGINEERING
In an impressive Passing Out Parade of the 2/2015 Bomb Disposal Course, Seven Sapper Officer Trainees and 26 Other Ranks Trainees on 14 March 2016 after completion of 12 weeks. The Sapper Trainees empowered with various theoretical and practical areas pertaining to bomb disposal which is inherent to Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
Brigadier AN Amarasekara USP, Centre Commandant, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers graced the occation as the Chief Guest. He reviewed the Parade, awarded the bomb disposal badges and trophies to the winners. In his address, Brigadier AN Amarasekara USP highlighted the future demand of bomb disposal in national and international security concern and adviced the trainees to take up challenging responsibilities in their career.
The trophy and certificate for the Best All Round Sapper Trainee was awarded to Major NLC Chandrajith SLE. Major WAKIT Wanniarachchi SLE received the Certificate for second place of the course and Major JC Mapatuna SLE received the Certificate for third place of the course.
