The Chief Field Engineer of Sri Lanka Army, Major General HRKP Peiris VSV USP ndu paid an official visit to 10 Field Engineer Regiments after taking the office of Chief Field Engineer few months back. The visit to 10 Field Engineer Regiment on 20th of May 2020. The Chief Field Engineer was ceremonially welcomed at 10 Field Engineer Regiment and followed by a briefing on current operational commitments, Sterilization Tasks, Field Engineers Tasks and Plant Engineer Tasks.
The Chief Field Engineer visited surrounding area of the camp premises. During his camp visit, he witnessed the living standard of men and civil servants while inspecting provided utilities to uplift men’s living standard and he addressed sapper troops and emphasized the necessity to work hard while maintaining outstanding discipline at every time.
Chief Field Engineer, Major General HRKP Peiris VSV USP ndu, former Commander Engineer Brigade Brig AN Amarasekara USP ndu, Overlooking Commanding Officer of 10 Field Engineer Regiment and all other Officers were attended with official formalities of the visit.
