THE OFFICIAL VISIT BY THE CENTRE COMMANDANT TO 1 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

Brigadier MPK Madurapperuma RSP USP psc the 15th Centre Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers made his first official visit to 1 field Engineer Regiment on 05 November 2021 after assuming his office as the Centre Commandant. The Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer Major UGS Wijenayake USP psc at the arrival to the Headquarters, 1 Field Engineers Regiment. The event commenced with the CO’s briefing which emphasized on operational, Administration and logistic related matters.

CO’s briefing was followed by the troop address conducted by Centre Commandant which mainly focused to the discipline issues, drug addictions and general military conduct.

Later, the Centre Commandant conducted a lecture on handling financial matters to the staff Officers of 1 Fd SLE focusing on handling, updating, auditing and accounting the accounts with proper supervision.

All Officers posted to 1 Fd SLE including ERE/Att and Other Ranks participated in this event adhering to the guidelines stipulated for COVID-19
