As per the direction given by the Army Headquarters to conduct an Offices\' Training Day quarterly, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers conducted its fourth and final Officers\' Training Day for the year 2017. Under the supervision and guidance by the Colonel Commandant and Commander Security Forces (West) Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc and the Centre Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Brigadier IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc, regimental Centre had organized a fruitful day to meet training requirements designed.
The day’s programme commenced with morning by PT session and followed by drill session for the Officers. Subsequently, a group presentation on Engineer involvement in Operation \"Balawegaya\" was conducted by 5 Field Engineer Regiment. Thereafter, a leadership presentation on Mao Tse-tung was conducted by the Captain TAMS Senevirathne SLE of 8 Field Engineer Regiment.
General Staff Officer 2 Regimental Centre Major WDDN Weerasinghe psc SLE educated all the Offices on Overseas Course policy revised by the board appointed by the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
The day\'s event culminated with the Diners\' Club. Mr Sri Bandara Karannagoda the Guest Speaker educated the officers gathered on Emotional Intelligence.
