OFFICER CADETS OF SLMA VISITED THE HOME OF SAPPERS
The Officer Cadets of Regular Intake 83 of Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) Diyathalawa, visited the Regimental Centre Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers on 30 October 2016.\r\n\r\nOfficer Cadets were warmly welcomed to The Home of Sappers by Colonel Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP psc on behalf of the Colonel Commandant, Centre Commandant and all ranks of the Regimental Centre. Later Lieutenant Colonel Indika Liyanage psc SLE, Commanding Officer 8 Field Engineers Regiment conducted a presentation to enhance the knowledge of the Cadets about the prestigious regiment and also on the future prospects for the Officers. \r\n\r\nAfter the termination of the presentation, tea was arranged at the Officers Mess for the Officer Cadets where they were immensely benefitted of having an interaction discussion with the Deputy Centre Commandant and Staff Officers. Deputy Centre Commandant emphasized on the benefits & importance of joining Sapper family. At the end of the session the Officer Cadets of the Intake 83 presented a memento to the Regimental Centre to mark their visit.\r\n
