OFFICER CADETS POSTED TO THE CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS BEING WELCOMED

On Friday, 20th December 2024, 12 Officer Cadets to be posted to the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers were warmly welcomed prior to the Passing Out Ceremony, by Major R M L A Rathnyake USP psc SLE, the Regimental Adjutant, by the instructions of Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.

During the session, a comprehensive briefing conducted by the Regimental Adjutant, where the Officer Cadets were given an overview of this prestigious Regiment by describing their responsibilities and expectations in the Corps. Following the briefing, the Officer Cadets were presented with Regimental pattern welcome packs, symbolizing their official integration into the Corps as Sapper Officers.

A total of 03 Female and 09 Male Officer Cadets were welcomed, marking a significant step in their journey toward serving the nation through the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. This event was an important landmark for the Officer Cadets, allowing them to gain an understanding of the values, traditions, and dedication required to excel in the Corps.
