The 12th President of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Ramya Deepika Peiris assumed duties on 21 December 2020 at the Seva Vanitha Branch Office at the Regimental Headquarters - Panagoda amid religious blessings, warm greetings and best wishes.
Amidst 'Seth Pirith' chanting, conducted by the Maha Sangha, the new President signed a formal document to signify the acceptance of the office at the RHQ SLE – Panagoda.
After taking over the duties, new president shared her thoughts upon the uplifting the well-being of the Soldiers of the Corps.
Major General Kumara Peiris - the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and the Additional Director, Project Management Unit of Defence Headquarters Complex Project , Brigadier Mangala Mayadunna - the Centre Commandant , Members of the Seva Vanitha Branch and Staff Officers of the Regimental Headquarters of the Corps also were present at the occasion.
