The General Engineering Brigade of the Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division has constucted a decent house to helpless widow family who are living in Karavilayaya, Embilipitiya and handed over the ownership of the house on 14 November 2022 by a simple ceremony. House was constructed with the finance assistance of Mr. Lalith Jayasundara who is living in USA, with the coordination of Maj Gen MDS Chandrapala (Rtd) RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc.
The Construction was done with the consultation of the Brigade Commander of General Engineering Brigade, Brig TC Peiris RSP USP under the supervision of Colonel Project of General Engineering Brigade, Col RM Subasinghe RSP by the troops of 12 ESR within two and half months.
