NEW COMMANDING OFFICER 6 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT ASSUMES OFFICE

Lt Col BKTN Batuwanthudawa USP SLE assumed duties as the 20th Commanding Officer of 6 Field Engineer Regiment on 20 November 2020 at the Headquarters 6 Field Engineer Regiment, Pallekele.

Newly appointed Commanding Officer welcoming with the ceremonial Guard Turnout. As a symbolic gesture of taking over the command, Lt Col BKTN Batuwanthudawa USP SLE placed his signature for a formal document after a brief religious observance. The day’s itinerary included planting of mango sapling, troop address and all ranks tea.
