MEMBERS OF ENGINEER SEVA VANITHA BRANCH VISIT TO ABIMANSALA III PANGOLLA

The president Mrs. Lushani Goonetilleke and other members of the Corps of Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch visited Abimansala Suwasahana Centre III - Pangolla, Kurunegala on 16th October 2015 to share the happiness and interact with soldiers who were wounded in action. The Abimansala Three at Pangolla, Kurunegala lying in a landmass of 10 acres is to house 50 more dependent War Heroes, resident in the North Western Province for lifetime care and rehabilitation. The location, rich with bio-diversity and facing the Pathalagoda Lake, bordering the banks of Deduru Oya, provides a soothing and panoramic view that brings mental peace and solace to the inmates. The brave dependent war heroes are comfortably accommodated for lifelong care and nurture these welfare facilities. All facilities are provided free of charge to ensure the well-being, rehabilitation, rest and recreation of the brave souls who had sacrificed much during the fight wipe out the scourge of terrorism from the shores of the motherland. After the visiting the premises the members of the Seva Vanitha branch, they had an interaction with the Soldiers who were wounded in action and were presented gifts. The event was colorful with the musical programme which let the brave hearts entertained and followed by special dinner.
